How to Make Chocolate Lollipops – Jacques Torres

Lollipops and chocolate together?  When reading the title I thought chocolate was going to be poured over a sugar lollipop. It was so much better.  Once again Chef Jacques gives a great, and simple, recipe many of us beginners can make.  Before this video I never understood what it meant on the package when it said 60 percent chocolate.  Now I do!  He has us use a regular plastic mold that can be found at a Walmart or even Christmas Tree Shops.  It is as simple as one, two, and three.  Put the stick in the plastic mold, pour in the melted chocolate (90 degrees), give it a quick tapping to smooth out the chocolate, then set in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. And ten minutes only.  I truly love watching Chef Jacques’ videos.  He brings them down to a beginner’s level without insulting you at the same time.  A great little treat to make that we all love!
