Stuffed Pork Loin and Clam Chowder – Two Fat Ladies

Two recipes and “Two Fat Ladies.” Once again, Clarissa Dickson Wright and Jennifer Paterson manage to fit two recipes in a short time segment.  I have to say I had a chuckle when the video started. I saw two portly ladies getting off a motorcycle and side car as they talk about how randy donkeys are. Jennifer began the segment with stuffed pork loin. The loin is stuffed with mushrooms; make sure you save the liquid you soaked them in.  Garlic is also a must for stuffing.  Not being a butcher, Jennifer recommends using bands used on chicken legs.  Of course all of this is done while having a laugh with her fellow chef Clarissa.  No temperature is given for the oven so perhaps UK ovens have only one setting? Clarissa explains the difference between UK chowder and American. UK chowder means no potatoes. She makes an American one here.   Once she has interesting bacon mixed with the potatoes, she moves on to the clams themselves.  Both recipes are relatively simple and can easily be made in my own kitchen. Now if I only knew the oven temperature.  Of course the anger management Clarissa exercises on her bag of crackers is hilarious.  It was fun to watch.
